Who is it for?

Music therapy's effectiveness for a range of client groups has been well-documented.  While I specialise in working with children and young people with special needs and emotional and behavioural difficulties, it can also be helpful for elderly people, people of all ages with mental health issues, people recovering from illness or injury (including traumatic brain injury), those in palliative care, people dealing with difficult life circumstances or those simply looking to grow as a person.

You don't need to have musical skills to benefit from music therapy; music therapy taps into everyone's inborn natural musicality. Music, instruments and games will be adapted to suit the needs, preferences and abilities of each client.
